RUGBY WORLD CUP 2011 UPDATE

Cruiseco has chartered Rhapsody of the Seas for two cruises in New Zealand, the first cruise is the shorter one and takes in two Quarter Finals and the second one is longer (well, I hope you guessed that from the first part of this sentence!) and takes in the Semi Finals, the final for third and fourth place and the Final (ALL four games are included in the package), and the second cruise is selling quite well at the moment, and "selling from the top down", ie the suites, balcony staterooms etc are selling first, so the advice last night was that if YOU were interested in either of these cruises, and you were happy seeing two of the Quarter Finals and an Inside Stateroom, there was no hurry at the moment, however, if you were interested in seeing the four final finals, and in one of the better staterooms, they are selling out, so you should be thinking about booking NOW!

Auckland accommodation has apparently been taken by players, administrators and sponsors, and "sports package experts" travel agents are booking accommodation in Rotorua and similar places, a couple of hours away or further.

Cruiseco is in the process of finalising charter arrangements for flights from Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne to Auckland on 6th October and return flights on 14th October with Air New Zealand, which will include transfers to and from the pier where Rhapsody of the Seas will be.

The following "RUGBY PERSONALITIES" have been CONFIRMED: Richard Harry, Phil Harry, Rod McCall, Joe Roffand David Wilson, and all except of Phil Harry have played in a World Cup. The "rugby personalities" will be on the cruises (some for the full time of both cruises, some possibly only for part of the cruises) and they will be participating in "preview and review" panel discussions onboard Rhapsody of the Seas, as well as no doubt to be found in various bars onboard.
